Call for abstracts and papers
We invite submissions of abstracts and papers on all session topics, including praxis reports and proposals for workshops, as listed in ‘Topics and Program’.
All submissions must be performed electronically at the website of the conference series Cultural Diversity and Conflict Studies (click here and then follow "Proposal Submission"). Before you submit your abstract please carefully read the submission guidelines.
Please note that the full text of all papers based on accepted abstracts are to be submitted in advance and will be posted and accessible to all registered participants of the conference shortly before, during, and one month after the conference. Abstracts will be published on this site and including in the printed conference program. Authors of papers and presentations will be required to sign a release allowing the conference organizers to record their contributions to the conference for later use via the website.
The prepublication of conference papers with restricted access shall stimulate research exchanges before and after the conference. All presenters need to be registered at the conference. The conference language is English and all submissions (including additional information) must be in English.
SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS:
Please indicate clearly the session or workshop number you would like to contribute to.
Your ABSTRACT should be around 500 words and must not contain any self-references, in order to facilitate blind review.
Please submit together with your abstract a short BIOGRAPHY of about 200 words for each author of the paper, written in third-person form ("She is professor..." rather than "I am professor...").
The abstract will be reviewed within 4-6 weeks by 2 or 3 experts in the area. Authors of accepted abstracts are then requested to submit the full text of their papers for prepublication on the conference series website (accessible to all and only participants of the conference "Understanding Conflicts"). Papers should be between 3000 and 4000 words. Please refer to the Author Guidelines at the submission website for bibliographic and formatting standards.
The general deadline for submission of abstracts has passed. At this stage we are still inviting late submissions on the following topics:
