FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
(1) Q: I want to submit an abstract to this conference, but my participation will depend on whether my abstract is accepted--should I register here, as participant, anyway?
A: Please hold off your registration at this site until author notification on April 15. This might have the consequence that some types of accommodation will no longer be available at special conference rates. If you want to avoid limiting your options, please register with payment now, and we will reimburse you later in case you should cancel your participation after Author Notification.
(2) Q: Is there any financial support, travel and accommodation, for participants (with or without paper) for this conference?
A: We have applied for additional funding, but currently we have no further funds to support participant travel and accommodation. Please contact your home institution or your embassy here in Denmark to inquire about funding sources.
(3) Q: I come from a developing country and wonder whether I can receive a registration reduction even if I only participate as a 'listener', i.e., without giving a paper.
A: Yes. Our policy is that students from developing countries can register at the AU student rate (34 Euro), and faculty can register at the AU faculty rate (60 Euro). But please contact the conference organizer to arrange for registration reduction.
(4) Q: I am a student/Ph.D. student and am thinking about submitting an abstract--will I have a chance of getting it accepted?
A: This is a research conference and we are aiming for high scholarly standards. But if you feel your competence might be sufficient and you have a particularly original idea or angle, do send us your submission.
(5) Q: I have some practical questions--who do I contact?
A: Please see our 'General Information', which also provides relevant contact information.
